Regional Art Alliance's exhibition at The Colonnade ends Friday

The Regional Art Alliance, a local art club that supports artists of every skill level, has a juried exhibition and sale of seventy–six original paintings displayed in The Colonnade Hallway Galleries through January 4, 2013. The art works are in various mediums including acrylics, watercolors, oils, and mixed media. Artists are residents of Trenton, Georgia, Ringgold, Georgia, Rossville, Georgia, Chattanooga, TN, East Brainerd, Ooltewah, Apison, and Lookout Valley. Ribbon awards were given. Recipients are Best of Show: Helena Ellison "My Neighbor's House", First Place: Evelyne Miller "Christmas Tree Farm", Second Place: Helena Ellison "Nutcracker Ballet", Third Place: Judye Carlisle "Silent Night", and Honorable Mentions: Judye Carlisle "Winter Wonderland", Geneva Green "Poinsettias", Garren Hall "December 21, 1950", Evelyne Miller "Looks Like Christmas", Sandra Price "Pumpkin Patch, and Ella York "The Sleigh Ride". This exhibit will continue to Friday, January 4, 2013. Admission is Free. The Colonnade is located at 264 Catoosa Circle, Ringgold, Georgia. (706–935–9000) Hours of operation: Monday–Friday, 9 am – 5 pm. They will be open from Noon to 9 pm on Saturday, December 15, and from 5 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday, December 31.
