Veterinarian entertains on piano, banjo Saturday

Dr. Hugh McCampbell will present his fifth annual Veterinary Piano Concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in the Sweetwater Elementary School auditorium, 301 Broad St., Sweetwater, Tenn.

On piano, McCampbell will play selections ranging from “Shangri-La” to “Maple Leaf Rag” as well as rock songs and classical compositions by Chopin and Rachmaninoff.

He also will entertain with songs on the banjo and tales from his veterinary practice. Surprise guest artists are scheduled to perform.

Proceeds will go to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, local Boy Scout troops and Sweetwater Valley Citizens for the Arts, which is presenting the show.

Tickets are $12 adults, $8 students. Tickets are available at the door the night of the event or at these Sweetwater businesses: Salt & Light Dance Studios, Fairweather Financial, Seiler Brothers, Lily Pad Boutique and Valley Building Supply.
