A closing party for Cessna Decosimo's recent exhibit at Tanner-Hill Gallery will compare the fundamental elements of art and wine.
Decosimo's "Sacred and Profane" addressed such themes as human nature, religion and spirituality. Six pieces of art in the exhibit will be paired with six wines chosen by St. John's Restaurant & Meeting Place sommelier Michelle Richards and wine director Josh Carter.
"The selected wines are intended to maximize the experience evoked by his work," according to a news release.
The event is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday. The gallery is at 3069 Broad St., Suite 3.
