The Lee University Festival Choir, under the direction of School of Music Dean Dr. William Green, will present a one-hour concert at 7 p.m. today, Jan. 17, in the Conn Center on the Cleveland, Tenn., campus.

The program will feature selections with a patriotic, spiritual and regional flavor, prepared for the choir’s upcoming performance at the 57th Presidential Inauguration.

Also featured will be music by the University Wind Ensemble and remarks by Cleveland Mayor Tom Rowland and Lee President Paul Conn. The Festival Choir will close with its rendition of “God Bless America” as the singers march to the nearby Paul Dana Walker Arena for the start of the Flames basketball game.

Admission is free.
