Comedians B.T. and Gretchen Hess will perform this weekend at Vaudeville Cafe. Shows start at 9:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, and at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.

Born and raised in Muskogee, Okla., B.T. first tried stand-up comedy while a student at the University of Oklahoma. In addition to performing in comedy clubs across the country, B.T. appeared at the prestigious HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Santa Monica, Calif.

The artist's performance style and charm landed him two performances on NBC's "Friday Night Videos." He also has appeared on BET's "Comic View," MTV's "The Jenny McCarthy Show" and Fox's "The Keenan Ivory Wayans Show," among others.

Hess is a Pittsburgh native who started her career as an executive producer/host of her own morning show, "Nationwide," for Resort Sports Network.

Her quick wit and writing style attracted national sponsorships and prime-time airing on ESPN2.

Hess' humor is known to be clean, clever and blunt.
