Be a safe, predictable road cyclist. Learn the rules of the road, Tennessee and Chattanooga bicycle laws, and a few easy tips for riding your bicycle confidently in traffic.

Outdoor Chattanooga's League of American Bicyclists certified instructors will show you a short video, then teach about lane positioning and changing, signaling and scanning and how to behave at busy city intersections.

We'll also teach you a few simple tricks for negotiating tough traffic situations.

The class is free and open to adults and kids ages 12 and older when accompanied by an adult.

After daylight savings time kicks in, we'll offer a short, optional practice ride after the class.
