The Association for Visual Arts will end its 2012 exhibition season with its annual juried members show. This show, for AVA members only, will feature some of the best professional and emerging artists in Chattanooga as selected by a guest juror.

The show opens Friday, Dec. 7, with a reception from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

The winner of the Best in Show award will receive a solo show at AVA in November 2013. Additionally, artists selected to participate in this exhibit will receive the chance to display their work at The Emporium Center in Knoxville this spring. The opportunity is part of an artist exchange program between AVA and the Arts & Culture Alliance of Greater Knoxville.

Paul Lee, a photographer and professor of art at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, will jury this year's exhibition.

The exhibition will remain on view in the AVA Gallery, 30 Frazier Ave., through Monday, Dec. 31. Hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.
