Jeff Jennings of NAI Charter Real Estate in Chattanooga was awarded the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute.

A CCIM is a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate and a resource to the commercial real estate owner, investor and user.

The CCIM designation is awarded after successful completion of four core courses that incorporate essential CCIM skill sets: Financial, market and user decision analysis along with investment analysis for commercial investment real estate.

Only 6 percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide have earned the CCIM designation.

Ethan Collier, president and CEO of Collier Construction, earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design professional designation.

Mr. Collier will become one of only three general contractors in all of Chattanooga to have earned the designation, according to a statement. Among Chattanooga’s LEED Accredited Professionals, Mr. Collier is the only residential builder, and Collier Construction’s goal is to have all vice presidents and superintendents LEED-accredited by summer 2009.
