Sean’s Current Earworms
Filed by Sean Phipps
No, I don’t have worms in my ears. An “earworm” is a radio term used to describe a song that slowly works its way into your brain after a number of listens. Earworms are not necessarily apparent upon a first listen. Sometimes they don’t even have lyrics or a discernible melody. And sometimes it takes 50 listens for a song to embed into your subconscious. These are the songs that you hear in your head when you drift off to sleep. On this week’s MUSIcast I’ll play a few of my Earworms as of late. I’d love to hear yours. Drop me an e-mail.
